Electrical & Natural Gas Fire - Charter Road

Firefighters initially found primary power lines down and burning.  Before CL&P could shut down the power, an underground gas line beneath the ground was compromised, resulting in a dual hazard incident.  CL&P eventually shut down the power and CNG was finally able to locate the closest valve and shut down the gas main.  Firefighter were on the scene for 6 hours.
